Latest Announcements

For 2021, we HAVE NOT printed a calendar for our church members. Instead we are making available a digital calendar that can be viewed on your desktop, or incorporated into your digital calendar on your various devices.

As events approach posters will be added to the calendar, event locations entered into the maps feature, and registration links included. A one stop shop!

You will even be able to find the events that interest you in your calendar and set alerts.

IF YOU ARE INVOLVED IN MEDIA AND ADVERTISING IN YOUR CHURCH, please note that this will replace the Digital Advertising for Local Churches folder in Dropbox. You will be able to download your graphics from the calendar.

Use these links :
Copy this iCal link to add to your digital calendar

New Bulletin Announcements

Posters which can be used in printed bulletins (when you are producing them again) and on digital screens (when we can again open the doors of our churches) are made available for you to download HERE. Please feel free to use them in your digital correspondence with your church.

Conference Newsletter - July 27th

Dwell on Romans 8:38-39. What can separate us from the great God that we worship and His amazing love? Nothing. No one. Not the difficulties each of us face during this time of isolation. Not this pandemic controlling our days... Nothing. No one. He is right here with us.

And so staying at home except for the four reasons is back. At least in Melbourne and the Mitchell Shire.

We are planning to print our August edition of IntraVic, and are praying that rural Victoria will remain largely unaffected by outbreaks and our church members there can continue to meet within the restriction guidelines and that the tougher restrictions will be eased by the end of August in the city. However, it is still likely that you may not be able to receive the printed edition.

So we encourage you to sign up for the email version of IntraVic Quarterly and encourage others to do so by sharing the link with them.

The content of the quarterly edition is different to what is sent out in the weekly emails.

Have a safe and content week, resting in God's peace.

July 21st Updates

Conference Newsletter - July 14th

From the President...

It was disappointing to hear the announcement that, while Rural areas were not impacted to the same extent, the Greater Melbourne area and Mitchell Shire was in lockdown again. Stage 3 restrictions.
Inevitable but disappointing. Can you identify with the words of the apostle, ‘We are perplexed but not in despair,” from 1 Cor 4:8?
Whether in the city or the country areas, we have an obligation to follow the guidance of the government and live by the restrictions outlined. The apostle Paul makes this obligation clear in Romans 13.
Our churches in the restricted areas are back to worshipping only online, and other ceremonies are also heavily restricted.  But I am ever so glad our churches aren’t closed.
The buildings may be, but we are the church – you and me – people. I am delighted to hear stories of active churches involved in meaningful worship.
So stay home, and stay safe. Let me encourage you to intentionally grow and strengthen your faith and respond to your community’s need as God opens the way.

Wishing you God’s blessing,

Graeme Christian
